Sweet cakes ep3

The caf was closed, however, all nine girls were in cleaning up, checking on their month’s work. “Anyone want something to eat?” SooYoung called from the kitchen.

“You just made a sandwhich. Now come over here and wipe the seats,” TaeYeon instructed, pointing to the tables at the side.

SooYoung just put on a pouty look, “I wiped it half an hour ago.”

“Well, do something more helpful then make food,” TaeYeon threw her arm in the air. Her stomache made a sound.

“Ah, now, do you want a sandwhich?” SooYoung asked, pointing a giant fork at her.

TaeYeon shifted her eyes to each girls, “ehh, whatever. Make us all one.”

“Coming right up,” SooYoung said, rolling up the sleeves, she peaked out the caf’s window, “We’re closed!”

Everyone except Jessica and TaeYeon began to laugh. SooYoung exit the kitchen and knocked on the glass where her brother and Kangin were standing behind, “Read. The. Sign. We. Are. Closed.”

”SooYoung..” Siwon said in a warning voice, he tapped the glass.

“Oooh, I’m scared,” SooYoung sighed. She slapped her palm in front of him.

Siwon gave her a look.

“Oooh SooYoung, the look ~”

“Shut up. What do you want?” SooYoung went back to Siwon.

“Open the door,” he tapped it again.

“Eeehh…” She gave up, unlocking the door, letting Siwon and Kangin in.

“Don’t close it,” Kangin told her, keeping the door open.

SooYoung raised an eyebrow, “Huh?” She stuck her head out of the door, looking from the right then to the left. “Oh, good god.”

“What is it?” HyoYeon said rushing over to the door. She stuck her head out over SooYoung’s, “Oh my-”

“Here comes the rest of them. All eleven of them,” SooYoung said pulling herslf into the restaurant.

Yuri’s mouth dropped, “Do they want us to feed them or something?”

“They were just bored,” Kangin answered simply, taking a seat at one of the tables.

TaeYeon and Jessica just stared at each other for a second. They had things that needed to be done and they didn’t need the noise. TaeYeon shot up for a minute, then laughed, “no way. Heechul’s here.”

“Uhuh ~”

“YO – what’s up sis?” Oh great.

“YOU!” She turned around and pointed at him, “Be quiet!”

“WHAT? I’m being friendly!” Heechul insisted. He took a seat next to her. “What’s all of this?”

“Work,” she pushed him away, then scratched the back of her neck.

Sunny blinked a few times, “will there be enough oxygen for all of us in here?” She watched as all the guys, including some of the girls took seats at the tables. SooYoung locked the door back up again.

“Do you guys mind being quiet?” TaeYeon asked, getting on her knees of the chair. She felt taller. Mwuahah.

“Yeah we’ll be quiet,” Sungmin said raising his hand.

“Yeah oppa, I know you will. But the rest of you,” she felt like eyeballing them. “Zip it.”

“You heard her, ZIP IT!” Heechul repeated. TaeYeon pushed him again.

Eeteuk just smiled from the back. Yeah ~ he had the most awesomest girlfriend in the world. Planet. Universe. Galaxy. Whatever.

“What are you guys doing anyways?” Shindong asked from the center table.

“We are..” Jessica counted quietly to herself, “rounding up our month’s work.” If that made sense.

Tiffany grinned, “music?”

“YEAH!” The guys whooped.

“NO.” TaeYeon and Jessica snapped. TaeSica glare.

“Kibum oppa, what do you want to listen to?” Tiffany asked running to the CD player, totally ignoring Taesica.

Kibum half-smiled, “Uh, it’s okay. TaeYeon and Jessica are busy right now.”

“Awhhhhhh,” SooYoung, Sunny and HyoYeon sighed happily, “Yoona, your boyfriend is so sweet.”

Some of the guys glared at Kibum from behind him from making them look bad. Hahahahah. Kibum ignored it and watched Yoona hide her face in his shoulder. He knew the guys should’ve known better.

SeoHyun smiled, she always loved it when Yoona became shy and hid around Kibum. Her unnie had different sides to her. She snapped back to reality, “Uhmm.. does anyone want anything to drink?” She spoke up shyly. Being youngest out of twenty-one unnies and oppas had that effect.

“Water.”

“Coffee.”

“Beer!”

“This is a caf you dumbnut, they don’t offer alcohol or liquor,” YeSung said flicking some of the guys in the head. Ahem, Heechul.

Siwon got up from his seat, leaving his jacket on his chair, “SeoHyun, I’ll help you in the kitchen.” He walked over to her, put his hand on her back and went to to the kitchen.

Jessica tapped her foot a few times, envious of SeoHyun. “Ugh forget it.” She went back to calculating with TaeYeon.

“Fany, put the music on just a little bit,” Yuri said, then pulled HyoYeon off her seat. “Come dance.”

“Gotcha!” Tiffany said excitedly.

A hip hop song began to play and Yuri and HyoYeon began to freestyle and randomly laughing. “SooYoung!!”

“No,” she answered, biting into her sandwich.

“You’re no fun!’

“Kangin oppa, try this ~” HyoYeon said doing a hard move. She pointed at him, “Your turn!”

Kangin got up with his hands off, “If you insist.” What confidence. He performed the routine which made everyone die of laughter. You could hear Siwon’s clapping from the kitchen. Hahah.

“Eunhyuk, you go!” Ryeowook said getting excited.

“Hey HyoYeon, do that move again,” Eunhyuk got out of his seat.

“What, this one?” She asked then moved to the music.

Eunhyuk watched carefully then he performed it. No laughing this time, clapping and whooping. He totally owned Kangin.

“Show off,” Kangin said with a smile.

Even TaeYeon and Jessica laughed, it passed a lot of stress. But once they looked down at their calculations, they let out a yelp.

“WHOA – what the heck was that!?” Donghae jumped on his seat.

“Ohmy..” Jessica swore under her breath, “this is not good.”

“Aiih..” TaeYeon clenched her teeth, “this is partially my fault.”

“What’s going on?” Sunny demanded, rushing over to them.

“Our savings from this month are barely half of what we had last month,” Jessica sighed, “Man..”

“What?” SooYoung couldn’t believe it, “But we worked our butts off and-” She paused, then turned her gaze to Yuri, “Oh yeah – don’t remind me.” Then she glanced at KyuHyun.

“Hey hey, don’t blame him, please!” Yuri said, blocking SooYoung.

“It was either them..” Yoona thought.

“Or those jerks really did spread the word around…”

HyoYeon looked at everyone, “Maybe we don’t have enough people working. You know? It can get busy, and I have seen people leave without getting their table..”

The guys all looked at each other, then back at the girls.

“Well we-”

“No, we don’t need the help, we’re just going to have to work harder,” Jessica said, already knowing that all thirteen of her oppas were offering to help them with the caf. She sighed, “oh man..”

“But-” Donghae tried to say something.

“We’ll survive,” Tiffany said.

SeoHyun’s voice cracked, “uhm unnie, coffee?”
