Sweet cakes ep1

“Ladededadada..” Tiffany Hwang sang happily as she made her way to take a table’s order, “Hello, welcome to the Vanilla Bean Caf. I’m Tiffany, how may I help you today?” She smiled.

“That smile kills me,” HyoYeon said from the counter. Yoona laughed then called for SooYoung who was working in the kitchen that morning.

HyoYeon checked the computer for a couple of things. She began to type, “Hey Yoona.”

“Yeah?” She stopped, holding a pitcher of water.

HyoYeon scratched the side of her head, “Is Yuri going out with Kyuhyun?”

“Yeah,” Yoona said again then went over to a few tables.

Tiffany slipped a few sheets of paper into the kitchen for SooYoung then made her way to HyoYeon, “Yuri and who?”

“Kyuhyun. He left a message on the phone. I think it was from yesterday?”

“Ahhhh,” Tiffany nodded, knowing, “She’s been late a couple of times because of him.”

HyoYeon shrugged then sighed, “I’m not surprised. It tends to happen. Even TaeYeon’s been late.”

Tiffany made a face, “Unlike her, really.”

“I know eh? Eeteuk has gotten to her.” The both laughed.

HyoYeon wiped a table as some of the people left, “What I don’t understand is that, Yoona has a boyfriend, but she’s always on time.”

“They’re responsible,” Tiffany agreed. “Of course Yuri and TaeYeon are too most of the time. And well, Kibum always comes to see Yoona when she’s working.”

Yoona hid her face behind her notepad and walked away.

“Yeah ~ cause she totally works her outfit,” SooYoung said from the kitchen. The girls laughed. The sweet smell of everything got them hyper.

“And SooYoung is always early too! Even if she’s seeing-”

“EH HYOYEON!” She pointed a giant spoon at her. People began staring at them. After another half hour had passed and more people had left, SooYoung made her way over to HyoYeon. Her kitchen duty was over.

“Why are you so mad for?” HyoYeon giggled.

“Eh-but-ughhhhh,” SooYoung groaned, putting her head down on the counter, “I’m not going out with Hankyung.”

“Lies!” Tiffany and Yoona said in unison. Then they began singing the chorus to Big Bang’s hit song.

SooYoung let out a fake cry, “Wah. But I’m not.”

“But YOU like him, missy,” HyoYeon said sharply.

“Whaat?!”

“Yessssss. You two are so cute together,” Tiffany squirmed.

“Poor Sungmin,” Yoona said, wiping a fake tear. HyoYeon cracked up.

SooYoung gave them a nasty look, “I’m not seeing anyone-”

“Lie.”

“And I don’t like anyone,” she stated strictly.

“Rightttt..” The three girls nodded, sarcastic tone.

SooYoung gave them another grim look.

“What? You’re always with him,” HyoYeon pointed out, playing with the back of SooYoung’s hair.

“Always,” Tiffany nodded, she waved goodbye to a few customer.

“No,” she protested, pulling away from HyoYeon.

“Oh – okay – so you just happen to be seen going out for dinner with him,” HyoYeon said casually with a shrug.

SooYoung went over to the computer, then sighed, “Siwon oppa offers me dinner. So?”

“With his best friend? Now – I think you wanted to go,” Tiffany smiled. Then again, it’s SooYoung. Free food.

Yoona tilted her head, “Would Siwon oppa even let you date Hankyung oppa?”

“When did my brother come into this?” SooYoung put her hands down on the table. Yeah – Siwon Choi was HER brother. Hard to believe? She stood up, wanting to get out of the conversation, “Closing in fourty-five minutes.”

“’Kay,” Tiffany answered. SooYoung left to clean up a few tables alone. HyoYeon and Yoona went to check how they did today at the counter and Tiffany went to clean it. More customers began to leave and soon it ended up to only two tables filled.

HyoYeon’s eyes widened as she saw someone out the window, “Yo, yo look!!!!” She pointed, lightly smacking Tiffany’s side, “Hankyung oppa.”

“Oh dear,” Yoona bent down, hiding behind the counter. She had a feeling something was going to happen. SooYoung didn’t notice. Yet.

“Ahhhh he’s coming in! Is that Eunhyuk?” Tiffany looked closer.

“Oh shoot,” HyoYeon bent down quickly beside Yoona.

Yoona patted her arm, “Why are you hiding? You two aren’t together anymore.” HyoYeon and Eunhyuk had decided not to see each other anymore because of reasons. Work, family and such.

“B-but it’s awkward..” HyoYeon answered, Tiffany yanked her up.

SooYoung turned around, spotting the three hiding, “What are you doing?” She looked in the direction they were pointing at. “Noooooo.” She wanted to run the other way, but seriously – where would she go?

She saw HyoYeon and Tiffany running towards her and then actually pushing her towards the door where Hankyung and Eunhyuk were coming in.

“Yoona!” SooYoung called as HyoYeon and Tiffany were shoving her to the door.

“Unnie turn around!” Yoona told her.

Too late. The door opened. SooYoung was too slow, surprisingly and HyoYeon and Tiffany gave her a forceful push making SooYoung and Hankyung collide.

Yoona’s jaw dropped. Luckily, SooYoung’s back had hit Hankyung and he didn’t see the look on her face.

“Ouch!!” Eunhyuk said with a chuckle.

SooYoung wanted to cuss out Tiffany and HyoYeon, but not at the moment. Not at the caf, not when Eunhyuk was there. Not when Hankyung was there.

“Are you okay?” Hankyung asked her, putting his hand on her shoulder.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” SooYoung answered softly. Odd. She was usuallly loud. Before, the girls expected SooYoung to shove him off. Not this time.

Eunhyuk laughed, “HyoYeon, why’d you push SooYoung?”

“Pssh,” HyoYeon slapped his shoulder, “why’d you laugh when she hit Hankyung?”

“I FEEL SO LEFT OUT!!” Tiffany cried with a laugh. Yoona stard at her awkwardly then let the last remaining customers leave.

“Closing time ~” HyoYeon sang, shutting the door and pulling down the blinds, “what are you two doing her anyway?”

“Uhh,” Hankyung took a seat at the counter, “we just wanted to stop by and say hi.”

“Hi!” Tiffany said and waved awkwardly.

SooYoung scurried over to Yoona, mouthing HELP ME!!!

Yoona laughed silently then took SooYoung’s hands, “Smooth.”

“Wahahaha.”

“Ahh, so you do like him.”

“Who said I did?” SooYoung said, straightening her back.

Eunhyuk, who gulped down a glass of water, pointed at Tiffany, “hey, you know Donghae has been asking about you.”

“Me?”

“Yeah.”

“You weren’t suppose to tell her that,” Hankyung half-smiled.

“Donghae?”

“Tiffany?”

“Whoa.” O____O
