Kissing You 14

Kissing You Chapter 14

recap:
QUOTE
Poor Changmin was forced to watch his rival and his crush flirt back and forth the whole way, knowing that it was only a trick on Taeyeon's part to make him jealous. When he reached the school gates, he saw a familiar black-haired girl standing there. He smiled with glee. What better way to get back at Taeyeon than to play her own game? He waved to the girl. "Hi Dana!"
==
The girl stood up and bowed nervously, "Hello, my name's Kwon Boa," she said. "I'm glad to be working with you. I always see you, and you're wearing the best outfits."
....
Yoona nodded. Taking a second look at Boa, she seemed to be really pretty. The type that Donghae could like. But Yoona shook the thought out of her head. Boa seemed nice, and if Donghae's friend invited her, she must have some talent.
==
Jonghyun laughed. "Okay, I was wrong. She's cute, but it's too much fun teasing her," he said to himself.
....
He waved. "If I'm really following you, then I'll see you later," he grinned.
==
She took out the locket resting in the right place, where it was comfortable. The necklace, tailor-made for her. But who had ordered it to be made for her? Thinking alone, Jessica had time to organize her thoughts. The key that matched that locket was in the hands of a boy she knew... but who?
==
Sooyoung's smile grew wider and wider. "Well, I didn't know that the fanclub didn't keep promises. But anyways..." Sooyoung grabbed a cup of soda that someone had left on the table when they paid and left. She dumped it on the three girls, and smiled innocently.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!" Sunye, Sohee, and Yoobin screamed.
"Well, I hope my point has been made," Sooyoung said politely. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a boyfriend to get back to."
....
"Aww, is boyfriend jealous?" Sooyoung cooed.
"No, I'm not jealous!" Sungmin pouted. After a few seconds of Sooyoung staring at him, he gave in and agreed, "Well, maybe a little bit."
==
Taeyeon put on her non-prescription glasses. "You like Hyoyeon and you need help confessing to her. You came to me because Minyoung project- Sooyoung and Sungmin- was such a success. Am I right?"
==
"Aww, thanks so much Kibum, you're the best!" Yuri smiled, and stood up. "Come on, let's go to my house. You can help me study for the quiz."
Kibum sighed and slowly smiled. "Okay."
==

Sungmin stopped at Sooyoung's house, and this time without hesitating rang the doorbell. A few seconds later, he heard the sound of footsteps running toward the door, and Sooyoung yelling, "I'm going to school now!"
Sooyoung poked her head through the doorway. "Sungmi-" she stopped short. Looking around, she scratched her head and walked out slowly, closing the door. "I could've sworn he was here a second ago," she said out loud. Suddenly, a sly grin and a look of realization spread across her face. Keeping up her act of not knowing where Sungmin was, she walked around the corner of her house and climbed up a tree.
Then, Sungmin came out from around the other corner and looked around. It was his turn to be confused.
"Where could Sooyoung have gone?" he asked himself. He absentmindedly strayed over to where Sooyoung was hiding, and she jumped down onto his back.
"OOF!" Sungmin grunted, and bent down to absorb the shock. He looked up at Sooyoung, "Yah, Choi Sooyoung, who gave you permission to do that?"
"I did," Sooyoung giggled. "Now off to school!" She patted his backpack. "Go!"
Sungmin rolled his eyes playfully and started off in a run. A few steps later, Sooyoung asked, "Am I heavy?"
"Can you get off for a little bit?" Sungmin asked and laughed as Sooyoung pouted and slapped his arm.

"Hi Dana!" Changmin bounced over to the girl. As Taeyeon was still playing the jealousy game, Changmin refused to give in. Dana folded her arms across her chest and frowned.
"Taeyeon told me what happened," she told him.
Changmin groaned. "That was an accident, and she won't let me off the hook. And look," he rolled up his sleeve, "she attacked me. I still have the scars to prove it."
Dana looked up at Changmin suspiciously. "Are you sure?"
"Of course I'm sure!" Changmin replied. "Would I lie to you?"
Dana shook her head. "I guess not."
"Well then," Changmin smiled deviously, thinking that if he did this, he could get back at Taeyeon, "do you want to go out with me?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"SEOHYUNNIE," Tiffany hollered from across the street. Seohyun winced and laughed at Tiffany's energy so early in the morning. Seohyun ran across the street to meet Tiffany.
"What's up?" she asked.
Tiffany smiled brightly. "Hey, are you and Jonghyun a couple?"
Seohyun's eyes widened. "WHAT?" she shouted in Tiffany's ear.
"Owie," Tiffany pouted, "no need to blow up. But seriously, are you?"
"No!" Seohyun answered. "And I'm not interested in him either. He's a selfish, conceited, stuck-up brat that only cares about himself." She crossed her arms across her chest, believing she had proved her point.
Tiffany's face fell. "Are you serious? But you two would look so cute together," she sighed. "That kinda stinks... I was hoping you guys would like... get married or something. I want to wear a long, pretty dress."
"Tiffany," Seohyun whined, "don't joke about that stuff, it's not funny. And besides, I'm not really in the mood for a boyfriend right now." Tiffany could see that Seohyun was still shaken about what happened at the recital.
Tiffany noticed Jonghyun walking across the street. She pondered for a while whether she should tell Seohyun, but Jonghyun noticed them too quickly. "Tiffany!" he called. "And.... who?"
Seohyun whirled around angrily and yelled, "It's Seohyun, you idiot!"
After Jonghyun successfully made it across the street, Tiffany whispered to him, "She doesn't really seem to like you... don't push it."
Jonghyun laughed. "Too late."
Tiffany sighed, realizing that she would have to put up with Jonghyun and Seohyun's bickering all the way to school. Being Tiffany, she pulled out her cell phone and started texting Kyuhyun.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Taeyeon, again wearing her glasses, walked briskly down the street while scribbling in a notebook.
"Taeyeon!" Kangta said suddenly. Taeyeon jumped in surprise.
"Oh, it's just you," she sighed. "You scared me." Taeyeon looked back down at her notebook and kept on writing.
"Sorry," Kangta laughed, "but I saw you walking across the street and thought you might want, you know, an escort."
Taeyeon gagged inwardly. She opened her mouth to decline, but remembering that she and Changmin were still in a fight, she said sweetly, "Sure, that would be great."
Sunny ran up to Taeyeon. She was closely followed by Junsu, who unsurprisingly, held a notebook with dolphins on it.
"Excuse me, Taeyeon?" Sunny asked while walking parallel to Taeyeon. "We're going to do a story on your romance successes in the school newspaper, or even on the gossip corner, so could you answer a few questions quickly?"
Still not looking up, Taeyeon dodged a tree in the middle of the road. "Maybe later," she answered. "I'm kind of busy right now, if you didn't notice."
"Oh, right!" Sunny nodded. "Sorry, but..." she grabbed Junsu's notebook, tore a page out of it, and scribbled some numbers on it. "Here, call me to tell me when you have time. Come on Junsu." Sunny folded the page in half, stuck in in the middle of Taeyeon's notebook, and walked away.
"That was.... weird," Kangta laughed awkwardly. Taeyeon nodded while dodging a lamppost.
"You should know," she answered. "You get it when you're popular." Suddenly, Taeyeon's phone vibrated and sighing, she put away her notebook and took out her phone. It was a text message from Sunny.

Just a little tidbit of information that I got from one of my sources just now. Thought you should be the first to know ^^. Changmin has a girlfriend~

Taeyeon's eyes widened, but she was able to mask her surprise by taking her notebook back out and scribbling in it some more. Changmin had taken their fight to the next level. Taeyeon realized she had to do a little bit more than that to win.
Kangta noticed that Taeyeon seemed a bit out of it. He had seen the text and thought, Now is a good time to ask Taeyeon out. Suddenly, he asked, "Taeyeon, would you like to be my girlfriend? I know this is a bit sudden, but..."
Her eyes grew even more. That was the chance she was waiting for! "YES! YES!" she exclaimed excitedly.
Kangta blinked in surprise to her agreement. Then he smiled. Taeyeon's smile grew into a grin.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Kibum, I'm so glad you stayed all night to help me study," Yuri grinned. "What would I do without you?"
Kibum smiled. He loved the times when he and Yuri were alone and could be completely comfortable with each other. "It's really no problem, you and I have stayed over at each other's houses since we were kids. All I have to do is call home and tell my mom that I'm staying over at your house and I'll be free for that night."
Yuri laughed. "Same with me. Except you know, it's me telling my mom I'm staying over at your house instead of you telling yours you're staying over at mine. Oh... that's confusing."
"Come on," Kibum tugged on her arm. "We'll be late for school if we don't hurry. We don't have that much time."
"Geez Kibum, stop that," Yuri giggled while walking faster. "When can I do something for you? You need to stop being so helpful, or else I'll feel bad that I'm not doing anything."
"It's okay," Kibum assured her. "I don't mind."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yoona sat at a table with Boa, Donghae, and Ryeowook. They were organizing the music choices for the fashion show.
Yoona tapped the words on the paper with her pen as she spoke. "So what I think is that while we have people going down the runway, maybe just a beat. We don't really need a song. But if you want to we can. And do we have any suggestions for while people are coming in and after?"
Boa elbowed Ryeowook, trying to tell him to speak up. "Uh! Um..." Realizing that he had to say something, Ryeowook bit his lip nervously. "Um... I think that we should um... play a song while people are uh... going down the runway?"
Yoona sighed. "That doesn't help. That's just going against my idea. But I guess we could try it. I'm seriously stressed lately, between helping Taeyeon and leading this fashion show and still making my own clothes."
Donghae smiled and tried to comfort Yoona. "It's okay. You have Ryeowook and Boa and me to help you here."
"Yeah. Should we meet after school or something today to do some more work and brainstorming?" Boa asked.
"That would work," Yoona replied. She wrote some notes down and stood up. "That's good, we should all get to class soon."
Boa and Donghae pushed Ryeowook, mouthing, "Walk her to class!"
Ryeowook looked like he was about to faint, but he nodded, took a deep breath, and asked Yoona, "Er... um... uh.." Boa slapped him on the back and he burst out quickly, "Do you want me to walk you to class?"

"Well.. um..." Yoona didn't honestly want Ryeowook to go with her, but she had to maintain a sweet image in front of Donghae. "Okay," she sighed and forced a smile.
Ryeowook's eyes bulged in surprise. "Really?"
"Yeah, really."
Donghae and Boa high-fived each other as Ryeowook walked away with Yoona, turning around and mouthing "thank you" to them.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jessica called, "Okay, bye!" and put on her shoes quickly. She turned around, ready to run to school, but bumped into someone that was waiting for her.
".........Younha?!" she exclaimed.
"Jessica!" the girl screamed and hugged her. "You've changed SO much! But you're still just as pretty!"
"Oh my gosh, I can't believe you're back from Japan. It's been like FOREVER since I saw you last. Where are you living now?"
Younha smiled and answered, "I live kind of far away.. I live in Busan actually. We don't have school right now, so I thought I should come and visit you! I heard from your mom that you got into a car accident, how are you now?"
"Great," Jessica replied quickly, "but you know, I kind of have to run to school. I took too long curling my hair and I'm going to be late if I don't rush."
"Oh, no problem!" Younha answered. "But one more thing. How is it going with your guy?"
Jessica was immediately interested. If Younha knew the guy that Jessica was agonizing over, she could definitely tell her who it was. She went with her gut feeling and said, "Oh, Donghae... he-"
Younha cut her off. "Donghae? Who's that?"
"Wait, who are you talking about?" Jessica asked curiously. She was so excited, she could barely keep herself from shouting.
"Well DUH. Kwon Jiyong, who else?"
